Revlon Colorstay Pressed Powder Compact Review

I've been in a haunt lately to try for a new compact foundation/pressed powder after finishing 3 refills of my favorite Shiseido Sheer Matifying Compact Foundation that I am so inlove with as you know, I am always on the look out to try for a new products. And since I've been raving about how much i love Revlon Photoready Liquid Foundation, I'd thought to try one of their pressed powder from the line Revlon Colorstay. The packaging is just a simple round black case with a white "Revlon" print on top.

I picked the light-medium shade that's closest to my skin tone but unfortunately, it just gave me an utter disappointment as I was really expecting a lot from this product. When I first applied it, I was very happy that it gave me a matte and flawless finish. However after few hours, I noticed that my face looks more oily and darker. I dont know if it's my fault for choosing a wrong shade as I remember just now that if you're acidic, you must picked a lighter shade than your natural skin tone ( that's what the Revlon Sales Lady advised), however, what I am more concern about is the oily look that it gives me. ;( So now I feel that my 825php was just a waste of money and yeah, im back with my compact foundation search again **

do you have any recommendation for a new compact pressed powder/foundation? Please let me know ;)

Faceshop's "Face It lesson" 4 Minute Smokey Kit Review ♡

Last Sunday, I received this Face shop's "Face It Lesson" 4 minute smokey kit as a present from my good korean guy friend who visited the country. =D Thanks a lot Greg. Chincha jowahe! ;)

The kit came in a very cute packaging with everything you needed to get started. It consists of 4 gradation eye shadow, mascara, eye pencil, sponge applicator and a guide leaflet for an easy to follow steps for a perfect celebrity smokey eye [which i unfortunately didn't understand because it's written in korean. ] However, you can check their website as I've heard they're providing a video guide for it. ;)

Such a gorgeous colours!
I forgot to put a lipgloss. yikes
Left angle. Hair's still wet =D
I didn't follow the step as I am trying to make a more wearable smokey even for day time. And so far, I am loving this kit so much. The colors are well pigmented and stays on the whole day. Even the pencil liner doesn't smudge and fade. I haven't checked in Faceshop's stores yet if this kit is already available in the Philippines but if so, I recommend you to give it a try. ;)

Annyeong! (^_^)

Always,

Rica
